Sick

Have you fallen sick before?
I'm sure you have. And I'm sure you'd know it because you feel uncomfortable, you know something is wrong.

Today I feel sick. Sick in the mind, in the brain. Everything makes sense and then doesn't make sense. I lose my mind over the littlest things. You might say I'm just having a bad day. Perhaps. But do you tell a person having a flu that perhaps she's having a bad day. Perhaps.

Perhaps.

Today is not a good day. Perhaps it's time to let you go.

  1. Sickness is our body fighting off something foreign or detrimental to our health, so, it is a good thing. It is our bodies fighting for us. Most times, mental illness feels like our mind is fighting against us, it can be awful, but that is when we must fight back. Reinforce your mind with that which is true, good, pleasing, praiseworthy, honorable.......yeah. Don't give up the fight! Also, that discomfort of the mind tells us that there are things that need to shift in our life. Only you know what those things are. Shift towards the truth: You are loved. You are a child of God. You are blessed. Regardless of where your mind goes, those truths never change. Isn't that great. Yes, indeed. May God bless you lil' dove.

  2. Actually, it's been frustrating me how I've been feeling this way a little too often. Sick in the brain. Have you read this before? I'm not trying to make any implications about you, but this has personally helped me and given me insight on a few things. http://creativesomething.net/post/55508909341/the-link-between-depression-and-creativity-and
